Boudha(nath)

Boudha is an unique part of Kathmandu where Nepali & Tibetan Buddhist live together around the great Stupa "Boudhanath"! The Stupa is surrounded by many Monasteries, other small Stupa's, Buddha statues and many prayer flags. Especially in the early morning and late afternoon it is colorful busy around the Stupa with Buddhist people walking Kora (walking clockwise around the Stupa). During the year there are many Buddhist festivals celebrated in Boudha and daily you hear the monks from the Monasteries recite mantra's or blowing their horns...
